Infinite Glimmer Grid

The Grid of my becoming.

The Light I Chose to Keep

A Letter to My Future Self

This artwork is a letter I wrote to the person I am becoming. I built it from a grid of alternating squares—glitter and mirror—because life has never been only one thing. Some days sparkle. Some days reflect back exactly what I am ready to see. The grid holds them all without ranking them: success and failure, joy and worry, grief and growth, dreams that came true and nightmares I survived, moments when someone special felt close, and moments when someone chose to push me away. Every one of those moments has left its mark on my heart. This painting is where I stop fighting that truth and begin to glow through it.

The mirror invites you to see yourself in the story. The glitter reminds you that light can exist even in fragments. Together they promise that I do not have to be untouched to shine. I can be etched, tired, grateful, and still full of light. I accept everything that has been and everything that is still to come. I move forward with eternal peace.

So this is my letter to my future self: If you ever forget, come back to this grid. Look at the sparkle. Look at your reflection. Remember that you faced it all—and you are still here, still glowing, still choosing peace.
